Parys Wetland Avian Development and Emergency Rescue (Parys WADER) is a wildlife rehabilitation centre based in Parys, Free State. Our work focuses on building a healthy wetland ecosystem where birdlife can return and thrive. We do this by combining community education, environmental stewardship, and targeted wildlife intervention. By helping the public understand how wetlands function and how birds behave, we aim to reduce unnecessary human interference and support natural survival and breeding.
